    Feasibility

    We start with a conversation with you and with your site. In an initial meeting or call with Sakkshi Founder & Principal Architect, we'll talk through your land, your goals, your aesthetic instincts, and your budget. This is where we start listening to you, and to the site: its conditions, its constraints, what it's telling us before a single line gets drawn.

    From there, we'll share relevant reference points to help ground the conversation, along with a preliminary estimate so you can gauge what's financially feasible before design work begins

    Schematic Design | DSA

    Schematic Design, often called the Design Service Agreement, or DSA, is where your site and your vision start becoming a real plan. Working within our structured building system, we shape your project's size, orientation, and form around what your site actually needs, and deliver schematic drawings, shadow studies, 3D models, and a materials and services estimate to ground the design in real numbers.

    Documentation | PSA

    Phase 1 | Design Development — We build out a preliminary construction set and coordinate with every consultant your project needs, in parallel, so nothing waits in line.

    Phase 2 | Construction Documents — This is where we get specific: finalizing structural drawings and material finishes, and selecting everything wall color to flooring needed to make your home move-in ready.

    Authorization to Ship

    Once your permit is approved, manufacturing begins on your home's structural elements. This final stretch is where the vision becomes tangible and it's where we stay closest, with direct support through construction administration rather than handing you off to a call center.

    Refine a Lindal Plan

    Lindal offers an extensive library of thoughtfully designed homes, many of which already align closely with our clients' needs. In this approach, we begin with a pre-existing Lindal plan that resonates with you and refine it to better respond to your site, lifestyle, and design preferences. Adjustments may include layout modifications, window placements, material selections, and orientation, ensuring the home feels both personal and place-specific.

    This is the most efficient and streamlined path, ideal for those who've found a plan that meets most of their needs and want a more focused customization process.

    Best for: Clients who have found a plan they love and want to refine it to fit their site with minimal design time.

    Hybridize and Adapt

    Every Lindal home is built from a consistent kit-of-parts system, which allows for flexibility within a structured framework. In this process, we take one or more Lindal plans and thoughtfully combine layouts, spatial qualities, and architectural features into a design that's more tailored to your lifestyle and site conditions.

    This option balances efficiency and personalization, offering greater flexibility while still working within the logic of the system.


    Best for: Clients who like elements from multiple plans and want a more personalized layout without starting fully from scratch.

    Custom Fit

    For clients seeking a fully tailored approach, Custom Fit offers a completely custom design within the Lindal system. We develop a custom structural grid that responds directly to your site's unique conditions — topography, orientation, views, and environmental factors — then design your home within that framework, balancing customization with the efficiencies of Lindal's standardized components.

    This process is highly collaborative and iterative, with live design sessions to review plans and digital models together in real time.

    Best for: Clients who want a fully custom, site-responsive home and are open to a more involved, collaborative design process.
